Mui Ne - Bao Loc
Distance: 150 kms
Like almost all beach cities in Vietnam, the sunrise is over the water so an early start can be rewarding.
This ride whilst short distance wise is over some of the best hotmix in the country. Quite diverse in the areas it covers and in the right weather conditions some great photo opportunities present also.

															(A) Is just a pin to take you around Phan Thiet away from traffic and the rather dedicated traffic police quite famous in the area.

															(B) A great viewpoint to the first lake. Now quite a lot of the surface home to a floating solar panel farm.

															(C) The dam wall and well worth the extra 20km diversion for the views of this beautiful lake system.

The last lake for the day is right in town and it’s worth an evening or morning walk around it. Near your accommodation and there’s a good coffee shop on the far side.

There’s not too much in the way of night life for Westerners in Bao Loc but with great mates I’ve had plenty of good nights there.

															(D) One of the family operated accommodation options I use quite often. Nothing flash but good value and in a quiet hem.
Bao Loc, home to the Ma Indigenous people is the commercial hub of Lam Dong province. A city of around 200,000 people with elevation of 850 Metres. Like Da Lat it can get cold at night and my experience has been that if its going to rain it will here.
