Riding a manual with a cable clutch this may well be the most valuable thing I carry. Takes up no space in the bottom of your bag or first aid kit but could save you a whole world of hurt. They are easy to change with simple tools so why not?
Once mobile it’s not difficult to ride without a clutch for experienced riders but if off road and remote you’re not getting out.
For the minimal cost and space it takes up throw one in. The day might come you’ll be very glad you did!
